Venetian’s TAO Bistro To Open TAO Beach

Friday 16th March 2007 - 5:33:35 PM

The Venetian’s TAO Bistro announced this week its plans to make an addition to the already popular hangout. TAO is mix of an Asian Bistro, Lounge and Nightclub all-in-one. Now they have decided to add a beach to their hot spot.

By day, guests can secure a reservation to lounge poolside in one of seven luxury cabanas that feature such amenities as high definition plasma screen televisions with X-box gaming consoles, a DVD library, internet and customized mini bars. Other amenities to include sunglass cleaning, iPod rental, and a staff of masseuses. Asian-inspired day beds are scattered throughout the 18,000 square foot oasis, which also includes a 30-foot bar where guests can sip on TAO-tinis and TAO-jitos made with fresh exotic ingredients.

As night falls, guests will find themselves in an open-air nightclub featuring a floating dance floor, four 14-foot fire columns, high-energy music from resident DJs Reach and Galeano and strategically-placed beds, perfect for lounging with friends while taking in the action.

TAO Beach, an extension of the TAO nightclub, will be open from 10 a.m. until sunset and closing times for the nightclub will vary. Although open to the public, a VIP membership program will be offered to locals as well. “Sunset Sundays,” beginning at 7:00 p.m. every Sunday, will surely end every weekend on a high note. Cover charges will vary.

The grand opening of TAO Beach is scheduled for May 4, 2007.
