Venus Pool allows women to sunbathe topless, but cannot go into the pool topless. This is not a misprint. The female wait staff will ignore you, and spend much of thier time chatting with the bartenders. No cover charge, even for non-hotel guests. Better places are the Club Moorea at Mandalay Bay, and Bare Pool at the Mirage. Much more expensive, but no attitude and real service.
The reason you cant wear shorts in, being a man, is to keep the pervs out. This isnt a free show. VPC wants to make sure the looky-loos are kept out and walking in with shorts looks as if you are a gawker. As a woman, I appreciate it. Loved the indulgence at Venus. Lunch and Sangrias poolside sans the noise of kids and casinos was amazing. Didnt like getting ripped off with the added gratuity!!!! Tipped and then added everything up to realize that tips must have been included. Felt like we had been scammed. That is why VPC gets 4 and not 5 suns from me!
Venus Pool: Friendly wait staff. A bit loud with college age patrons. Some high rollers frequent daily. Overall nice experience. Topless sunbathing a plus.
The Venus pool cabanas are a ripoff. Cost is $650 and they won't even let you close the curtains to get some privacy.
I tried to go to the Venus Pool On a Monday...
It was advertised to the locals for public use...
The male at the gate was very rude... saying I had to be in Beach attire..... I had shorts and t-shirt... told him my swim trunks were under the clothes... any way very very rude.. so I left...
there are more friendly topless pools in vegas..
esp the Mandaly Bay... Very Cool...

After enjoying Caesars pools for years, our most recent visit was completely disappointing. In the past, small children, and the accompanying noise, were primarily concentrated in the Temple Pool, young adults at the Neptune and Apollo Pools, and the Venus Pool offered a quiet respite from "the scene" where women could go topless, by choice. Invariably, patrons seeking privacy and peace could count on the Venus pool as one of the best spots in Vegas. Clientelle was mature, and while there was an inevitable sight seer or two, the atmosphere was upscale. No Longer.
1. Caesars has sublet the operation of the Venus Pool to Pure. This is the see and be seen Caesars nightclub for young adults. A $30 for men, $20 women, entry fee, disc jockey blasting "techno" music, a snotty 20 something attendant at the entrance trying to give the place a phony air of exclusivity...we were offended to say the least.
2. At the south end of the Temple Pool a rediculously loud, and not very good, pop rock band blasted any hope of relaxation from the air. The sound was inescapable from any location around any other pool area. The entire area was jammed with little kids screaming at the top of their lungs, there were floating snot loogies in the water, a fat little kid obviously pissing in the water... not my choice of places to relax. By the way, drink prices are stupid. I'd pay them if that was the hook at what was once a great pool experience, but not for this joke. The pool attendant at the towel desk was the only good point, but even his excellent service couldn't make up for the rest. We'll stay and swim elsewhere.

Venus pool was the only pool that we would frequently use. Since this has been taken over by the PURE CLUB people , it is no longer on my list to visit. Service sucks. $6 waters, $7 beers. $17 mixed drinks. I don't mind spending $ but not for this. WOW I sure miss the previous pool girls they were the best always' on top of it. I stay in the hotel and they still want to charge me and my husband $50 to use a pool. Not a chance!
I agree with the other comments. The Venus pool was always a spot where you could count on NO children, except for the people walking by to see a pair, it was quiet and relaxing, my favorite thing about caesars. Now it's a "club" when I was there it was mostly empty, and I had to fight for achari next to loud annoying kids. It's going to be circus circus in a year there.
This is the only hotel in Vegas to stay at and the best pool and the best everything else.
Fantastic pool area!!! Many choices for pools and seating areas. They even have a European (topless) pool area, for those that are so inclined. I must say pool wasn't too shabby.
Always a great pool area, we always try for rooms in the tower above the pool. The frozen grape girls are a treat. Also, seems to have less kids than other pools, can't wait to go back. Also, one is better off to take a walk inside to the food court for lunch, more choices and a better value.
